Well, we have our first tip for the launch of Bus Leagues. Our good buddy from the blog Run Up the Score! has informed us that the International League will be adding a new team in his area soon. The best part, however, is the nickname:
Not only do they have a fantastic-looking website, and the best “under construction” message I’ve ever seen, but they are inviting any Joe Blow in the area to sing the national anthem next year.
C’mon, do it. We double-dog dare you.
Pencil us in for a 2008 appearance at an Iron Pigs game. What an auspicious beginning.

Extra P, this blog is a great idea; the type of thing I would have advocated in my Gaps column. There are so many minor league teams, and so many diehard fans of those minor league teams…blogging gold! I have to remember to link to this. Good work.
