It was a rare happy moment for Bruce since Dusty “Rookie Killer” Baker started making him the leadoff hitter. In the #2 slot, the Deal is 19 for 41 (.463) with 2 HR and 10 RBI; batting first, he’s 3 for 20 (.150) with 1 HR and 1 RBI. At least it was against Boston.
