Somewhere, Extra P is Smiling

Virginia rocks ace to oust No. 2-seeded Cal State Fullerton

The Cavaliers live to fight another day (against Arkansas, most likely – the Razorbacks are currently losing to LSU, 9-1, in the eighth inning), while perennial powerhouse Cal State Fullerton goes home.

If they can get past Arkansas, it will set up a rematch against the Tigers on Friday.

I’m looking forward to the first-person account from our own man-on-the-street, Extra P, who must be positively giddy that his hometown team is one of the seven teams that still has a chance at winning this thing.

  1. It’s been a big day. I met the architect of the new stadium, fell in a storm drain in downtown Omaha, and met Minda from Ladies…

    Oh, and Virginia won.

  3. Sorry I wasn’t very sociable. I had my head deep in all the stuff I’d learned, trying to turn it into a readable article.

    • Also, because you’re a blogger. When you’re only allowed out of the basement once a year, social skills are bound to be lacking.

Side note: I’m watching Arkansas-Virginia right now. Is anybody ever going to win this game?
