Major League Baseball’s All-Star Break begins on Monday, but the on-field festivities get underway at 2 PM on Sunday with the Futures Game.  The full rosters for the United States and World teams can be found here and here.

  1. The Futures Game is one of my favorite prospect dog-and-pony shows. I’m planning my day around it.

  2. I thought about doing a live-blog/running commentary on the game, but will probably end up watching Elmo’s World or Trading Spaces instead. My control (or lack thereof) over the remote control at this point in my life is laughable.

  3. Ditto. My son is playing Wii, and when I mentioned that I’d like to watch some baseball two hours from now, you would have thought I said he had to eat rocks for dinner.

  4. Ten minutes to game time and the family is heading off to take a nap. This might be too good to be true.
